Smallcleugh Mine, Nenthead

Easter in Northern Pennines. Drove up in morning arriving at "High Plains" Outdoor Centre just over 2 miles from Alston just before 10:00 after a two and three quarter hour journey. Visited Smallcleugh following Steve Holden of Shropshire Caving and Mining Club with Karen, Keith and Mick Hogg. Visited Ballroom Flats and lower level via short but solid ladders.
