Arrived at the Gite “La Paloumere” in Labadereque, Herran near Arbas in the Haute Garonne

We docked in Santander at 13:30 local time and after disembarking from the ship drove on Motorways following the Garmin Satnav until the very last section in France, which was on smaller roads and arrived at the Gite just before 20:00 finding Keith Slatcher, Pete Collins, Boyd Potts and Elaine Booth (who had travelled with Boyd).
The Gite is in a convenient location, 2.7 miles from the “Fontaine de l'Ours” car park, but there are no places to eat nearby. There are several houses but only three are permanently occupied; one by a British family. It's about half an hour drive to the nearest supermarket in the town of Mané. The bedrooms are alright, having two bunkbeds each and there are proper toilets and showers, a large kitchen with catering-sized cooker and fridges but only a very large room with tiled floor and hard seats and tables for eating and sitting on.
Still, a very good location to stay. Plus beautiful scenery all around.
